A Peacock-themed lager will be available in the bar on matchdays and in the club shop as part of a new multi-year deal between Taunton Town FC and Quantock Brewery
The club has announced the relationship with the brewery will continue after a successful first year teaming up with the brand.
Operations Manager Karl Lindsay said: “We are delighted as a club to engage with local suppliers for food and beverages.
“Last season we partnered with Quantock to offer IPA and lager, which proved very successful. I am delighted to announce that we have now tied up a multi-year deal with Quantock Brewery to stock IPA as a can, lager and an ale on draught.
“More excitingly, Quantock Brewery will produce a bespoke Peacock inspired lager in a can for sale behind the bar on matchdays and events and it will also be available to purchase in our club shop.
“This is a really exciting time for the club and this broadens our offering to visiting and home supporters. We thank Cheryl and Josh for working with us to be able to put this deal together and continuing the growth of our partnership.”
Cheryl Ford (managing director) and Josh Martin (head of sales) at Quantock Brewery, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be continuing our relationship with Taunton Town Football Club.
“Supporting local communities and providing memorable experiences for the fans is key here at Quantock Brewery.
“We are proud to now be supplying not one, but two, of our beers and contribute to vibrant atmosphere on matchdays.
“Our flagship beer, ‘QPA’ a four per cent pale ale will now be available alongside our ‘Lager Than Life’ on draught across the ground for the upcoming season.
“We are honoured we can continue to build and grow this successful relationship with one of the South West’s longstanding and well-respected football clubs.
“Going forward we will be offering Taunton Town supporters discounts in our brewery shop, exclusive tastings and more to be announced later in the year.
“This extension is a testament to the collaborative working relationship both parties have built over the past year. We have seen how much value local craft beer has added to the supporter experience.”
